Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a global elite law firm who is looking to hire a Banking and Finance Solicitor with NQ - 5 PQE to play a key role in its existing legal team in its Doha office. The firm works on the largest matters for high profile clients so this is an excellent career development opportunity.
This role will be to work closely with the Partners and existing team in relation to undertaking a broad mix of conventional and Islamic finance work, covering matters such as leverage, acquisition, real estate, asset and project finance work, along with some regulatory work as the area expands in Qatar.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be an admitted solicitor with NQ - 5 PQE demonstrable high quality experience gained at well regarded law firm with Common Law, UK, Australia etc. legal qualification, combined with a strong academic record. Arabic language skills and exposure to Islamic finance work are not required. Our client is keen to speak to a lawyer with good background gained at a legal directories rated firm either already in the Middle East or open to relocate.
