ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Leads complex and cross-departmental/cross-unit projects. Provides leadership and team development, coaching, and facilitation; ensures the alignment of team priorities with broader best-run projects and programs in alignment with unit/SAP-strategy and initiatives. May be the in-house expert on business topics or specific technologies. Works on business issues or advanced complex technical projects requiring state of the art technical, industry or business knowledge and concepts. Directs the design, planning, and implementation of (business) development/change programs, policies, processes, standards and procedures or technologies. Approves change management initiatives and suggests enhancements to existing programs.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

Area 1: Strategy to Execution

- Provide neutral & holistic view on organization/unit/area
- Link unit/area specific goals and execution plans with the rest of the organization and overall company goals
- Establish (co-) operational model within business unit in close alignment with internal and external stakeholders
- Drive cross-unit initiatives in cooperation with other stakeholders
- Act as trusted advisor in community, actively applying expert knowledge

Area 2: Process Definition & Enhancement

- Develops concepts and processes for continuous improvements of operational procedure, tools, processes, and content
- Conducts assessments and reviews to actively contribute to improvement on process performance
- Act as trusted advisor in community, actively applying PM expert knowledge

Area 3: Day-to-Day operations

- Inbound and outbound communication on senior management level
- Supports senior management in monitoring and evaluation of KPIs
- Guides tasks and processes of other team members
- Acts as role model for team members from Associate to Expert level: gives feedback on skill development and training

Takes Team Lead Role from time to time

Requirements

WORK EXPERIENCE:

- 7+ years of working experience, thereof 5+ in operations or related area
- English: Level 3: Fluent (Able to fluently understand and communicate verbally and in writing)

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- University degree or comparable experience
- MBA or Ph.D. is an advantage
