Cloud Consultant

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a globally recognized financial consultancy group, who is looking to hire a Cloud Consultant who will be responsible for developing all aspects of Digital Transformation, and be responsible for solutions to meet client-business objectives.

As the Cloud Consultant, you will work closely with the clients to develop and enhance digital proposals and support the Managers with the delivery of these proposals. You will work in partnership with technical experts, business analysts and developers from internal teams and external partnerships to design as well as guide new cloud solutions.

As part of your job, you must have a clear understanding of the current market trends and must be able to manage risk and day-to-day operations by identifying, communicating and tracking any issues.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or an equivalent digital technology related field, as well as a certification in Cloud Technologies like AZURE, GCP or AWS, and at least 3-5 years’ experience in cloud related roles. You must have the ability to work well independently and with teams and should also have strong interpersonal and influencing skills.

You must have strong communication and presentation skills in English, as you will be required to lead strategy focused workshops. Fluency in Arabic is advantageous. Sound technical knowledge of software and hardware, such as operating systems, computer hardware and software application is essential.

For this role we require someone who is already in Qatar and authorised to work here.
