Employment: Full Time

International Construction business is seeking to hire a Commercial & Contracts Manager to sit on a construction project based 50 Minutes from West Bay.

A very quiet drive so stick on the pod cast going against the traffic and set yourself up for the day. You will be joining a a western management contractor with good cash flow , solid ethics and a track record of 15 + Years in Doha.

Our client is an International Main Contractor based on a 1.1 Billion QAR Project based just outside of Doha.

Due to an internal transfer within the group they are hiring for a Contracts & Commercial Manager to sit on site and lead this project through to completion in Q4 2023.

Based on site you will work closely alongside a Western Project Director and an Irish Commercial Director based in the Head office in Doha. You will immediately take control of a team of 6 surveyors on site and 2 buyers.

You will be seen to lead , guide , mentor and develop the commercial team on site.

Do you have the experience of running either a Buildings or Civil Engineering contract as principal main contractor ? Can you work closely with a client showing a willingness to meet deadlines and get this project over the line for this key government entity.

Yes we want you to administrator the contract but at the same time not burn bridges with the client …Is this you ?

Requirements

Following is seen as essential by the hiring Commercial Director

Degree Educated – Quantity Surveyor. 10 Years relevant experience working within main contractors or cost consultancies. Happy to roll your sleeves up and proactively manage and administer the contract. Pro active NOT reactive. Solid contractual exposure to claims , delays & EOT’s.
