Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Commis 1

The Commis 1 will be required to conduct his/her duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the standard policies and procedures, ensuring that the highest level of service is maintained.

What you will be doing:

- Maintaining and creating a strong commitment to a team atmosphere.
- Developing and maintaining product knowledge, facilities and surrounding areas.
- Developing one's professional progress to enhance and increase quality performance.
- To have very good knives skills and to know basic cuts.
- To be able to prepare fish, meat, vegetables, sauces and stocks.
- To be able to grill, pan-fry, stew, braise, steam and roast.
- To ensure that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions and rotation is managed according to company standards.
- To ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time.
- To ensure that all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum Primary school education
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Oral proficiency in English language
- Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
