General description

This position is responsible for the Supervision of Construction activities and preparation of Bill of Quantities and Estimates for the small works and review evaluation and analysis of commercial & Technical tender submissions which includes Technical and Financial submissions, preparation of Interim & Final payments and handing over to Operations & Maintenance dept. – Assets Affairs.

Main Responsibilities

• Help day to day activities with the Contractor’s ongoing site activities. Monitor and Inspect Quality Control in accordance with Ashghal policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Keep an eye on Contractor’s Site performance and preparation of Interim Payments.
• Take part of meetings with contractors concerning contractual /site problems as requested by the Contractor.
• Prepare reports for contract progress status, performance analysis, contract terms tracking, analyze and interpret reports/data for Project Management.
• Work closely with Head of House connection or Senior Engineers to support and discuss any other site issues.
• Prepare any work assigned for BOQ and submit to the Contract Dept. for further Contractual Conditions terms and procedures implementations.
• Maintain Site daily reports, arrange Monthly meetings for better progress.
• Prepare a request for variation, addendum, extension of time, etc., in accordance with established procedures terms and conditions arising on site.

Minimum Requirement

• Master preferably in engineering field with six years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor preferably in engineering field with six years of relevant experience.
