Job description / Role
The position-holder shall:
• Have had at least fifteen (15) years of experience in the Exhibition industry; five (5) of which with project experience of working in the GCC;
• Have been involved in major projects in large scale, multi gallery, multi-disciplinary exhibition fit-out and installation;
• Have performed contract and procurement preparation, project planning and control, contract management and administration, budgetary and cost estimating, project audits, claims analysis and assessment and claims preparation;
• Have worked with international and local consultants, and exhibition contractors preferably in the GCC region for minimum 5-years;
• Have extensive experience in the implementation of project control systems for exhibition construction management and project management contracts;
• Have developed and implemented project implementation procedures and developed project forms for multi-disciplinary exhibition installation with multiple sub-contractors;
• Have comprehensive knowledge of estimating and cost control.
• Have experience in Cost Control, reviewing quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, cost estimating and bid price analysis, preparation of the technical proposal (comprising of the works program, method statements, site organization chart, quality control/safety plans and resource schedules);
Requirements
• Minimum Experience in exhibitions: 15 years
• GCC Experience: 5
• Possess excellent English language and communication skills; and
• Be educated to Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or equivalent discipline relating to exhibition design and interior fit-out; and
• Optionally, possess one or more memberships with recognized project management organisations
