Director of Finance

Job description / Role

Charterhouse are working with a prestigious luxury hotel in Qatar, who are looking to hire a new Director of Finance to spearhead to operational side of the business.

Working closely with the owners, your new position will involve incorporating the owner’s strategies, implementing new controls and ensuring maximum guest satisfaction and ROI. You will be responsible for the management and development of the finance team as well as balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that the P&L is accurate and compliance is always adhered to. Requirements

The successful candidate should have strong stakeholder management skills and come from a hospitality, hotel and FNB background. You must have a proven track record of leadership and development and be able to demonstrate the ability to improve profit, explore new business opportunities and budget/forecast. Your previous experience should be within larger establishments due to the requirement to manage multiple revenue streams.
