Environmental/Sustainability Manager

Job description / Role

Client is a leading European contractor with an excellent reputation and track record of working on major projects. They are currently working as lead partner on a major section of the metro in Qatar and are looking to recruit an experienced environmental and sustainability manager.

The role will be to oversee all aspects of construction to ensure that all local environmental and sustainability legislation is adhered and meets sustainability regulations.

Requirements

Candidates should have a degree in an environmental or sustainability related subject and should be able to demonstrate a wealth of experience in environmental management of large construction projects. Candidate must have worked on large infrastructure projects as well as building and should middle east experience. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of local and international environmental and sustainability legislation and standards.
