Reports To: OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Section/Department: THE CUBAN HOSPITAL (TCH)

JOB PURPOSE
The Estates Director role is the senior Maintainers employee on site accountable for the control and coordination of all technical and facilities management of the hospital and the staff accommodation aligned to contractual obligations. Lead the Maintainers team and manage staff in accordance with company vision, mission and values.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and manage P&L responsibilities, application of financial diligence
• Implement FM Healthcare industry best practices to attain outstanding quality standards including all aspects of health & safety.
• Ensure all contractual deliverables and milestones are met in line with contractual terms, conditions and obligations
• Lead and clearly direct team performance setting SMART standards and goals
• Build, develop and maintain effective relationships with all internal/external stakeholders
• Through personal commitment ensure a culture of transparency, free from discrimination of any kind
• Actively encourage employee personal development including soft skills training

Requirements

• Engineering/FM related degree or equivalent (essential)
• Recognized leadership qualification (Desirable)
• Relevant recognized professional organization membership (IHEEM, CIBSE etc.)
• Knowledge and experience of theory and practice of JCI & HTM standards
• Must have been formally appointed Authorized Person (AP) in a discipline

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• 6+ years leading/managing FM in a healthcare environment
• P&L Management experience
• Previous employment in GCC
