Job description / Role

Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimizing, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance & Infrastructure, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Corporate Finance Strategy, Transaction Tax, and Valuation, Business Modeling and Economic Advisory.

Our transaction real estate professionals help clients make strategic real estate decisions with objective advice. We understand the biggest challenges faced by our clients — the need for capital, the long-term investment horizon, the immobility of assets and the complexity of construction. Our multi-disciplinary approach brings together experienced teams to help clients achieve the potential of real estate assets, portfolios or companies. Our clients see us as a vital part of the team that works closely with them to develop capital market strategies for acquiring and disposing of real estate assets, including fund concepts or sale and leaseback structures.

The role:
- Develop the ability to analyse important impact factors on the real estate and hospitality industries across MENA. Integrate industry knowledge within the EY context (e.g., Benchmark, templates, new ideas) and redefine important engagement milestones
- Guide team members in the analysis of relevant business fields and help to identify new opportunities for existing clients
- Develop technical expertise in the specialised competency and be confident in articulating its TAS value offering to the market
- Build and expand networks whilst developing personal brand and shaping high performing teams to deliver exceptional client experience.

Requirements

- Real Estate and/or hospitality experience required
- Technical skills required (sound excel modelling, competency with Argus/Estate Master)
- Qualifications (CFA/ MBA/ Masters etc) is preferred
- 2 -4 Years’ experience
- Arabic language an advantage
- Team management skills required
- Willingness to travel frequently on assignments
