FF&E Designer

Job description / Role

• He or She shall coordinate and work with senior designer(s) in the development of overall design concepts.
• He or She shall create furniture layouts, any details, perspectives and render for presentation.
• He or she shall prepare schemes and sample boards to include, furniture, fabrics, and accessories.
• He or she shall select and document necessary specifications, schedules and material references; approved colors, finishes, materials required into a spec or FFE book.
• He or she shall prepare spec sheets for all selected and custom items.
• He or she shall develop necessary and appropriate budgets required for the assigned project.
• He or she shall request pricing from suppliers.
• He or she shall assist in the preparation of Purchase Orders.
• He or she shall review shop drawings and follow up on all manufactured items.
• He or she shall contact with client/consultants/vendors on all FF&E or SPECS matters and attend site meetings.
• He or she shall be informed and regularly updated on various FF&E supplies and materials relative to design/decoration purposes and budgets.
• He or she shall update and maintain the FF&E library.
• He or she shall prepare, print, coordinate with others sample boards, mood boards

Requirements

Educational Qualification:
• Degree In Interior Design & Architecture

Number of Years of Experience:
• 2-5 years

Area of Experience Required:
• SPECS and FF&E Design
• The person needs to have excellent knowledge about Design Procurement and Specifications
• Able to manage material library effectively
• A team player
• Able to work and submit outputs on time
• Able to to work on Microsoft
• Able to to use 3D Max, AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Design
• Able to to use any program required
