Role Summary:
The Internship is designed to enable undergraduates pursing a Bachelor-level or Master-level degree to have hands-on work experience as the foundation to their professional life and, depending on performance, be first-in-line for an ongoing career opportunity.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Intern provides assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives. In this role you will work within defined parameters to make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
You might be required to mobilize to customer sites within Qatar for hands on work on the control systems.

- Provide support with assisting Field Service Engineers on Control Systems activities in the field at customer sites.
- Writing technical reports, preparing job status reports, reports to customers, time sheet and expense sheets on a complete timely, and thorough basis
- Maintain knowledge of the report system to the extent required for timely and accurate input of field information necessary
- Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports for customer records and a reference for the future.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Current student, studying towards a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (Electrical or Computer Science Engineering)
- GPA above 3.0
- Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision
- Strong customer service mindset
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
