Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key tasks
• The Finance Coordinator will be responsible performing highly responsible administrative and secretarial services for the Finance Department.
• Work includes administering processing and reconciling actions, preparing financial reports and correspondence, responding to inquiries, requests, and complaints, distributing mail, maintaining records, processing office payroll and invoices, scheduling meetings and appointments and performing a variety of administrative duties as assigned.
• Complies with Hotel's policy and procedures at all the times
• Provides administrative and secretarial assistance to the Finance Director and other Finance division heads;
• Prepares financial spreadsheets and reports, composes and types correspondence, processes mail and monitors feedback register.
• Maintains and updates current archive area and the log
• Assists with the preparation of the Annual Forecast Presentation, rating presentations, various other presentations, and special projects as needed.
• Provides information requested and updates financial information for the Finance Director.
• Maintains and updates filing system for department, prepares and maintains office records and reports
• Receives and responds to inquiries, requests, or complaints internal and external customers
• Refers calls to the appropriate personnel as needed;
• Processes payroll and invoices for Finance Department.
• Performs similar or related work as required and other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills
• Level of Education Bachelor / Licence Areas of study Administration , Secretarial Professional experiences 1 to 2 years

Languages essential
• English

• Arabic

Essential and optional requirements
• Minimum of 2 years' experience similar position within in a luxury/upscale hotel is a must.
• Pre-opening experience is a plus.
• Ability to be persistent, patient, creative and flexible.
• Exceptional work ethic and commitment and Self-motivated.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Arabic is an advantage
• Highly developed problem solving and prioritization abilities.
• Strong organizational and people skills.
• Computer skills in MS Office ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet
