Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a growing hospitality organisation in Qatar who is looking to hire a Financial Controller. You will look after all aspects of financial management including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures.
You will review and approve all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition. You will have complete ownership of all aspects of management, financial reporting and analysis and direct and drive the preparation of forecasts and budgets based on agreed strategic objectives.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA) with experience overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations. You should have at least 5 years experience as a Financial Controller within hospitality. Our client has stated a preference for Arabic speaking candidates already based in Qatar with experience working in the Middle East region.
