Job description / Role
WSP |Parsons Brinckerhoff are looking for Fire Protection Engineers for our Power Transmission projects in the Middle East and Qatar.
The candidate shall be responsible for:
- Inspection of fire alarm and detection devices, fire pumps, fire water tanks, piping and instrumentation, high pressure water valves etc.
- Site supervision of water deluge system, FM 200 systems, fire alarm system, smoke extraction system, gas detection systems
- Site Testing and commissioning fire protection system, review of site test procedures, co-ordination with client engineers and contractors
- Design reviews of fire protection drawings will be added advantage ( fire alarm detection system, deluge hydraulic calculations, gas flow calculations, piping layouts, alarm panel scheme checks)
Requirements
We would like to hear from qualified Mechanical Engineers who have worked on large substation projects. Successful candidate should be a Graduate Mechanical Engineer with minimum 8 years of relevant and should be familiar with relevant international standards.
The candidate shall have relevant experience in reviewing approved drawings and calculations to comply with contract scope and should have Site installation supervision experience for transformer deluge system, Gas flooding system, fire alarm systems, fire pump sets, gas flow calculations, fire piping layouts, refrigeration piping layouts, hydrant layouts, gas piping layouts.
