General Foremen (Infrastructure)

Linum Consult’s client is currently seeking multiple General Foremen from main contractor backgrounds to be involved in the on-site management of a significant stadium construction project in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Planning work on a weekly and monthly basis with the Zone Manager
• Managing the on-site productivity of the company’s workforce as well as sub-contractors
• Managing the Quality Assurance Systems
• Ensuring that the team follows HSE-approved practices on site
• Planning and designing the formwork
• Training and supervising subordinates
• Carrying out regular inspections on formwork and scaffolding
• Maintaining registers of equipment for the formwork, scaffolding, plant, and other materials to be issued on site
• Raising any requirements for plant equipment/tools and materials
• Maintaining stock at the on-site store

Requirements

PROFILE

• 10-15 years’ experience of hands-on management of infrastructure construction projects
• A history of working for main contractors, with the ability to read construction drawings and execute the work accordingly
• Minimum of high school education
• Ideally has a background of working in the Middle East
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
