AL MANA LUXURY has already opened 18 international Luxury Stores in the Pearl of Qatar. In September 2009, we will now open the first indoor and outdoor Emporio Armani Caffe in Qatar. If you are willing to join our international Team. Please find below our requirements.

In close relationships with the Emporio Armani Caffe Teams in Italy, our Head Chef will have to:

• Deliver the highest standards of the Italian gastronomy in Qatar.
• Create, draft and cost our Menu (in paying attention to seasonal availabilities)
• Ensure finest Products Knowledge to his teams in communicating and training them.
• Liaise on a daily basis with management regarding special requirements, VIP's functions, etc.
• Ensure that his teams are trained enough to effect good portion control and perfect presentation of dishes.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and security procedures.
• Monitor and assure Food Safety and International Hygiene Standards.
• Maintain adequate stock levels to the volume of the business.
• Conduct physical inventories.
• Ensure all the Restaurant equipment is correctly used, clean regularly and well maintained.
• Document product knowledge test validation.
• Do the staff scheduling.
• Do interviews for walk-in candidates.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings.
• Generate the required reports as needed by the Management of the Company.

Requirements

Our Head Chef will have to :

• Have a good command in English.
• Have a 5 years experience as a Chef in an Italian restaurant or in a Five Star Hotel.
• Have THE sense of creativity
• Have skills in Team Management in international environments
• Have a strong knowledge in Hygiene and its constraints.
• Be extremely flexible
