Head of Inspection required - Qatar

WRS are pleased to be representing our client who are based in Qatar in sourcing an experienced Head of Inspection for one of the most exciting projects currently going.

We are offering the opportunity to work on the worlds most cutting edge projects and on multiple world first technologies within Gas to Liquids (GTL).

Job Purpose:

Managing the various inspection strategies/activities of the company in order to improve plant performance and reliability through the effective safeguarding of statutory equipment and piping.

- Contributes to the formulation and implementation of the inspection functional strategy
- Supervise day to day inspection operations, manage sub-contractors
- Assist and managing the inspection procurement process
- Statutory inspections and material delivery
- Attestation on pressure testing
- Reporting
- Budgets
- Head the inspection group

Qualifications:
B.Sc Mechanical Engineering
MBA is an Advantage

Experience:
- 6 to 8 years in inspection management position
- Working knowledge in the Oil and Gas sector
- Ability to carry out statutory equipment in a timely manner
- Ability to implement IQMS and related procedures
- Manage effective communication with relevant parties
- Adequacy of statutory equipment testing
- HSE unit attests the Inspection's adherence to organisational HSE policies, standards and procedures
