Head of International Services Support - Facilities Management - Banking - Premises Manager

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join one of the Middle East and Africa's largest and most prestigious financial institutions in their Qatar headquarters as Head of International Services Support

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all international facility services activities, including routing, scheduled and emergency maintenance, safety & security for all international premises of the bank.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate clear understanding of the important factors behind the bank’s financial & non-financial performance
• Oversee all property maintenance and facility management related activities including security, mail distribution, hospitality, office maintenance, office furnishing, and cleaning.
• Approve the list of assigned focal points in international branches and subsidiaries to ensure a close eye on all facilities
• Manage relationship with vendors responsible for the opening of new branches or refurbishment of existing ones.
• Take leading role in understanding of external & internal environment (economic, political, social, competitive, and regulatory factors)
• Demonstrate speed and flexibility in decision making, taking decisive action when circumstances call.
• Display a good understanding of the major economies/relevant geographies that could have an impact on the group’s business
• Develop budget estimates for the maintenance of all international facilities, equipment, in coordination with PM & Engineering department
• Visit branch offices and undertake detailed analysis of maintenance/project work required and prepare report for Head of International Project Management

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak English, French and Arabic fluently
• Extensive experience working as a Facilities, Property or Real Estate Manager for a global Banking or Financial Institution
• Comprehensive understanding of services provided and related best practices
• Business understanding within international economic/legal context
• Ability to create efficient workplans and a high level of coordination among team members
• High degree of understanding of Customer Service parameters and guidelines
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Facilities Management
