Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide facilitation and leadership in managing a safe and healthy workplace for all staff and visitors.
- Ensures that HSE is regarded as a high priority and is continually improved through action planning and best practice procedures.
- Facilitate implementation of Health & Safety Procedures in line with QA/QC Procedures, using existing database management tools.
- Training and familiarization of staff with Procedures, Policies, Documentation etc.
- Regularly review and update existing Health & Safety Procedures.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure full compliance with procedures.
- Liaise and brief Clients on internal Procedures.
- Review / comment on Contractor-submitted OH&S manuals, statements, etc.
- Assist Resident Engineers with monitoring OH&S compliance of contractors.
- Supervise HSE staff at Core Team, assigning inspection schedules, training requirements and arrangements as needed.
- Maintain a register of all incidents and accidents that occur across the relevant projects or sites, issuing non-conformance notices

Requirements

- Degree qualified in Health and Safety
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- NEBOSH Qualification
