Employment: Full Time

Purpose

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project-related activities such as: on time and on budget management and delivery of projects, risk escalation, vendor oversight, status reporting and delivery of stakeholder requirements. Additional duties include the design and documentation of workflows that will positively impact project and operational effectiveness

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Manages day-to-day operational aspects of ICT projects
• Works with key stakeholders to develop all aspects of a data governance framework including; identification of data standards, data standards Policies and Procedures and a data dictionary
• Works closely with IT personnel and business partners to identify and maximize opportunities to use information and technology to improve product, service and/or program business processes.
• Identify resource needs and assigns individual responsibilities
• Document and review deliverables
• Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
• Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures
• Minimizes project risk (maintains project risk log)
• Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
• Effectively facilitates team and stakeholder meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field
• Ability to build and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Problem solving and skilled decision making
• Information and technology proficiency
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly analytical in identifying problems and able to provide clear recommendations
• A champion for change with the ability to work well with cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within the scope and budget
• Must be familiar with Enterprise Architecture standards
• Possesses general understanding in the areas of IT Infrastructure, application programming, and system design
• Ability to identify business needs and as they relate to a specific project
• PMP certified and sound knowledge in Microsoft Enterprise Project Management
• Practical knowledge of project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Lean and Kanban
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of MS Project, e-mail/scheduling & other software applications preferred
• Candidate must be the ideal team player and a highly skilled communicator
• Candidate should have excellent interpersonal and customer facing skills
