Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Assist the Stakeholder Engagement Manager in managing stakeholder/ interface requirements for the managed Project(s)
• Ensure that relevant communication protocols are in place to inform Stakeholders of Programme and Project related activities
• The position of Interface Manager will require close coordination, alignment, and communication among the delivering entities and key stakeholders
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders
• Communicate key issues to Stakeholder Engagement Manager and Authority’s management
• Ability to make impartial priority calls and determine appropriate course of action, dealing with many different stakeholder views
• The ability to think creatively and exercise sound judgement based on analysis of risk
• Ability to work in multicultural environment and promote collaboration
• Ability to apply sound judgement, to think laterally and innovatively, and identify new solutions or ways of working to achieve same end goal
• Liaise with the delivering parties and all affected stakeholders
• Participate in working groups addressing logistics and coordination with the interface management, business process efficiency
• Assess existing and future Infrastructure for proper coordination
• Evaluate design documents to assess constructability purposes
• Cooperate with municipalities and approving authorities
• Foresee project risks, offer real-time mitigation strategies, and report high risk matters to the senior management
• Prepare monthly reports and other documentation as requested or required
• Visit work sites, observe situations and prepare reports of observations and findings
• Enforce provisions of Memoranda of Understanding and Cooperation Agreements
• Validate accuracy of information reported by delivering entities
• Coordinate with other interfacing infrastructure projects (PMC's)
• Adhere to all programme governance, policies, and processes
• Adhere to the high ethical standards of the Client
• Represent the Client with the highest level of professionalism
• Identify and proactively take steps to address areas which are impacting or could impact the Programme generally and individual projects (planned or operational)
• Meet with internal and external stakeholders to identify and facilitate the resolution of Programme / Project pathway challenges
• Act as the Programme / Projects key strategic focal point
• Develop, maintain and manage Programme and Project wide stakeholder management plans
• Liaise with Supervision Consultants and Contractors as and when required

Requirements

• Bachelor degree from a recognized University in an appropriate field or Equivalent. Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage.
• Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, including both design and construction of complex road works projects.
• Minimum of 5 years as a lead project or programme manager
• High degree of technical proficiency in the successful delivery of programmes and/or projects of similar size and complexity
• Experience in effective cost and schedule management
• Proficiency in risk management, safety, quality and sustainability aspects
• Demonstrated adherence to high ethical standards
• Evidence of suitable professional qualification or equivalent is preferable
• Experience of working in Qatar and / or the Gulf region
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Arabic language skills
• Driver’s License
