Job description / Role
Our client is seeking a IT application technician to join the team based in Doha, Qatar on a 8 month contract with intention to extend .
Purpose: To perform deployment, administration, validation and troubleshooting tasks on key IT applications for a virtualized HADR environment.
Full support (Deployment, administration, validation and troubleshooting) of the following core IT applications:
- Active Directory
- DNS
- MS Exchange
- ESB
- Roaming Profile
Please note that this position is only for 8 months contract
Requirements
- Associate Degree, a National Certificate or eqv.
- At least 3-5 years demonstrable experience with the core IT applications
- A thorough knowledge of the core IT applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills the ability to explain problems and solutions clearly to non-technical users
- The ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A patient and methodical approach
- The ability to work alone or as part of a team
Other beneficial knowledge on following applications:
- SQL
- Database Management
- Antivirus
- Arcsight Suite
