Qatar Airways has a career opportunity for an experienced Senior IT Auditor. Reporting to Manager IT Audit, the incumbent would be responsible to conduct IT audits that assess/evaluate the established internal controls designed to manage the Company’s most significant IT related business risks and evaluate the operational effectiveness and compliance to formal process frameworks. Audit engagements may be either assurance or advisory in nature, and vary considerably in size and complexity.

Candidate would be familiar with IT audit procedures of complex IT systems, work with the team and the auditee to perform risk assessments, design audit approaches, plan engagement objectives, and draft and deliver audit reports while complying with professional standards and addressing the risks inherent in the engagement. The Senior IT Auditor will also be the day to day leader of audit engagements and will be responsible for ensuring Junior Auditors are adequately supervised to ensure the work is completed on time and in a quality manner.

Candidate must have experience in applying relevant technical knowledge in at least one or more of the following areas:

- Internal audits of Technology infrastructure, operating systems, networks, data centres, vulnerability assessments, IT security, IT general controls and COBIT benchmarking;

- Internal audit of Databases including database administration, security and controls reviews of Oracle and Oracle Applications (ERP);

- Internal audit of complex IT systems; providing advisory support by helping business perform risk assessments and guide on application control review scoping as well as application review approaches; Post implementation review of IT systems

Requirements

You will hold a Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field, with post qualification experience and ideally be CISA certified; A minimum of 4 years of job-related experience in internal/external IT auditing, out of which at least 2 years of functional/supervisory experience at senior level; ISO27001 and/or OCP would be a plus; Superior English communication, influential ability, excellent analytical skills and report writing skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office; Some travel anticipated.
