IT Operations Manager

Job description / Role

The incumbent of this role is Responsible to oversee & manage the day-to-day activities of the Support team, Inspectors team & Data officers/surveyors' team. He is responsible for the planning and good execution of all operations, definition of processes & guidelines & their update & execution, the quality of the data collected, and is the first check on the collected data and monitoring and controlling the outsourced manpower deployment as per requirement and shall conduct onsite inspections as frequently as required.

- Understand requirements & software & hardware systems used for operations and be able to use them as a Data Officer, Inspector, or Surveyor
- Develop user guides and detailed procedures (word & PowerPoint documents) based on functional use cases & systems used (SW & HW)
- Setup the Operations team processes & policies, and objectives
- Plan & monitor resources deployment by location and timing by maintaining shift planning & monitoring attendance logs & coordinating with third parties (ex.: farms) to inform them of the planned visits
- Monitor the execution, quality of work & performance of the operations team
- Interview, onboard & manage all resources
- Ensure all tools & equipment required are available, in working condition, and provided to the teams. Manage stock & maintenance of these tools along with the technical team as level 2
- Provide regular reporting on support tickets (excel, any other tool provided)
- Provide suggestions on how to structure, automate and improve support activity & systems continuously
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor performance & report on those inspections

Requirements

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of IT Office suite & IT proficiency
- Arabic Speaker
- Previous operations management experience
- Ability to produce organized documents (processes, guidelines,…etc)
- Strong communication skills in writing & verbal
