Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Joinery Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of joinery projects, including materials, labor, and other expenses. The Joinery Estimator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects are financially viable and meet our clients' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analysing project plans and specifications to determine the materials, labor, and equipment required for joinery projects.
• Estimating the cost of materials and labor for joinery projects, taking into account factors such as quantity, quality, and location.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
• Preparing detailed take-offs and cost estimates for joinery projects, including the preparation of bills of quantities.
• Researching and sourcing materials and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability.
• Reviewing and analysing subcontractor quotes and proposals to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Providing support to the sales team by preparing estimates and proposals for potential joinery projects.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates, quotes, and project documentation.
• Assisting in the negotiation and finalization of contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in estimating or construction management are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery estimation, preferably in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
