Rixos Qetaifan Island North

Opening in 2023, Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Icon Tower is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Kitchen Technician

This position ensures the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the kitchen equipment and facilities, contributing to the high-quality food service we offer to our guests.

What you will be doing:

- Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, fryers, refrigerators, and other appliances, to ensure they are in optimal working condition and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to assess and address any equipment issues or malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new kitchen equipment, ensuring they are correctly integrated into the existing kitchen infrastructure and operating efficiently.
- Manage and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance and repairs, coordinating with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
- Conduct safety checks and maintain compliance with safety regulations, ensuring that all kitchen equipment and facilities meet the required safety standards and guidelines.

Your experience and skills include:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Technician
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues in kitchen appliances and equipment.
- Ability to work independently with less supervision
- Familiar with safety regulations
