Charterhouse is working with a reputable and leading organisation within their field. Our client is looking to hire an Arabic speaking Legal and Procurement Manager who will have full strategic and operational responsibilities for one of their subsidiaries.

This is a key role in the business where you will work closely with all service providers, local regulatory and government agencies, courts and partners. You will identify and manage legal processes including contractual risk in line with corporate contracts and legal policies providing operational support to the Senior Management and Tender Committee. You will also handle all procurement processes for the organisation from developing RFPs to tender management. In addition, you will develop and oversee the implementation of guidelines and standard processes for all procurement.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a law Degree, a postgraduate law Degree such as BVC, LPC or LLM would be highly advantageous. You should have solid experience in managing legal and procurement processes coupled with a strong familiarity with the Qatar legal system. It is essential you have a thorough understanding of procurement best practices and standards, intellectual property and contract management as well as negotiation and supplier management. Arabic communication skills are crucial for this position. Knowledge of local media, exhibitions and events laws would be preferred.
