Job description / Role
My client is a leading international construction company who are currently working on the construction of a major health care facility in Qatar and are looking to recruit an experienced Life safety Systems Project Manager with knowledge of Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) codes and standards. the role will be to
- Oversee all site activities relating to Life Safety Systems
- Investigate problems in installation of life safety systems
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, planning, construction and testing for LSS.
- Liaise with QCDD representatives and consultant/clients on all installation, testing and certification.
- Provide solutions to non compliant systems
- Assist subcontractors in installation and testing activities.
Candidates should have a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering and must have at least 20 years experience in the design, installation, testing and commissioning of life safety systems on major construction projects. Candidates must be familiar with Qatar Civil Defence Department standards and regulations along with all international design standards and specifications.
