Logistics Supervisor

Job description / Role

• Managing daily routes / schedules of deliveries for all the merchandise in relation with the supplier consignment
• Receiving all the direct merchandise
• Handle all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Create planning schedules, training employees.
• Articulate and maintain logistic flow and process Documentation
• Waste management on Day to day , (approximately 1 tone a day)
• Work closely with the all the Business Manager team to introduce organizational improvements and as a result improve customer service levels.
• Monitors and utilizes KPIs and reports to ensure efficiency.
• Provides daily reporting on and highlights issues relating to, routine operations and KPIs.
• Set the objectives and budget for own team members and ensure their accomplishment.
• Provides direct supervision to the first line managers including the objective settings, performance management as well as motivating coaching and training.
• Seeks to identify and suggest innovative solutions and changes to the operation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business management equivalent preferably within the field of logistics
• 3-5 years minimum experience of working with a logistics operations environment, 2 of which in a supervisory level
• Have proven change management skills
• Be willing to challenge all existing practices and seek improvement opportunities
• Excellent English Communication Skills; Arabic is an advantage
• Microsoft excel skills
