Charterhouse is working with a Regional Facilities Management and Maintenance company that offers its GCC clients a wide-range of services. Part of a conglomerate group, the company is collaborating with one of the country’s leading projects, providing its tailored service. Our client is a forward thinking and environmentally conscious organisation who are continuously recognised for their alignment with the Qatar 2030 vision.

As the Maintenance Manager you will be managing the daily procedures of the company’s maintenance portfolio, supervising a team of over 200 technical staff. You will be strategically assessing each operation, to ensure a timely execution whilst maintaining high standards of delivery. Additionally, you will closely monitor financial targets, overseeing budgets set by management. The role will see you be part of a demanding world-class facility which requires continuous supervision. You will be collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to build and sustain strong working relationships. In addition, you will monitor compliance and best practice policies, you will work with the HSEQ department to respond to client queries, site inspections, facility audits etc. You will also act as a consultant to impart your expertise to advise clients of future facility and maintenance requirements.

Requirements

You will hold a bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering and have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a maintenance and management role. Your most recent experience must be with an International project such as an Airport, Large Transportation Terminal or Museum. You will be an active member of a professional membership, relating to Maintenance or Facilities management, with strong examples of HSQ delivery in your portfolio.
