Employment: Full Time

Qatar Airways is looking for an experienced manager in the field of E-commerce Sales & Marketing, specifically within in the airline and online travel industry. This position is a crucial role within the E-commerce Department and responsible to maximise revenue generation and transactions through Qatar Airways website, mobile and other self-service channels. The Manager will be leading the Site Management and Merchandising section within the E-commerce Department with the aim to further develop these channels as key sales, service and customer support platforms for the airline. Furthermore the Manager will be overseeing the E-commerce customer service operations via the global customer contact centres. The position is also responsible for the day-to-day content management as well as ongoing developments of Qatar Airways website.

Working from the head office in Doha, Qatar the Manager will work closely with the regional and country offices globally to create, adapt and implement the airline's E-commerce strategies as well as being responsible for the annual sales and revenue budgets.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
• At least 10 years experience in the field of E-commerce Sales and Marketing
• At least 5 years managerial experience in the online travel industry
• Proven team leadership and people management expertise
• Very good understanding of online marketing tools, specifically SEM, Affiliate Marketing, Metasearch
• Prior experience in optimising website performance for usability, revenue generation and customer service operations
• In depth understanding of the airline sales and distribution environment
• Knowledge of fare distribution, pricing, ticketing as well as a general understanding of airline revenue management principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (oral and written)
