Marketing Director - Industrial

My client is a European MNC dealing in the manufacturing of products within the construction industry globally. The Middle East is a regional hub, with the Qatar office being an important representative office with ability to upscale quickly. Part of that expansion is to recruit a strong Marketing candidate as part of the management team.

Reporting the the Qatar GM, leading 5 direct reports, the Marketing Director is responsible in driving all marketing activities in terms of understanding the relevant markets, creating awareness, delivering superior value, promoting opportunity purchase and evaluate and sustain loyalty. By doing so correctly, my client is in a better position to achieve enthusiastic customers leading to sustainable profitable growth. Additionally responsible for establishing the Engineering & Channels department structure and strategy in order to ensure clear service differentiation to our customers and over proportional growth in engineered products and sales channels.

Requirements

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing or similar
- A minimum of 8 years in a B2B, industrial, Engineering Marketing role within a recognized MNC
- Confident, driven and dynamic leader.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original branding opportunities.
- Line Management experience
- Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
- Be an excellent communicator
- Be able to respond well to pressure
- Work well in a team and with a wide range of people
- Have a good business awareness
- Be able to work within a budget.
