The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country's biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North's Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world's highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description

Marketing Manager

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to attract potential guests and retain existing ones as well as management of collateral, special events/promotions, social media, and advertising at a local, regional, and international level.

- Take ownership of the marketing strategies including development, management, implementation, monitoring, optimization, and reporting.
- Analyze market trends and prepare forecasts.
- Coordinate marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and operation departments.
- Develop, supervise, and deliver the branding, advertising, and promotional collateral/materials according to business needs and as requested by different departments.
- Develop business and leisure promotions.
- Monitor all printed materials to ensure adherence to corporate identity standards.
- Maintain up-to-date photo/electronic library.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for the production of marketing materials.
- Coordinate all special events and promotions to maximize publicity and awareness.
- Evaluate requests for external stakeholders.
- Work with the marketing team on defining the proper marketing campaign based on seasonality, trends, and business needs.
- Evaluate digital reports and suggest improvements for any online campaign (on websites or social media).
- Work with the DOM to plan the advertisement campaign for Qatar and relevant markets (outdoor, printed, digital) and execute it.
- Run SMS and email campaigns. Contract and manage the necessary systems to run the campaigns.
- Serve as a spokesperson, when appointed by the Managing Director, to make all official statements to the media, especially during crises.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget for the complex.
- Contribute to employee newsletter, announcements, and other printed/digital materials published by the Talent & Culture department.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience in Hotel Marketing or 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language, Arabic language is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Presentation skills required
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Networking, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as creativity and writing skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in stressful & high-pressure situations
- Well-presented and professionally groomed at all time
