Job description / Role
Charterhouse has an excellent opportunity working for a leading Qatar EPC Contracting Company supplying the Oil and Gas industry. Our client is looking to hire a Mechanical Project Manager for a new pipeline project.
The role will be leading the project on time and within budget, managing the project directly or through direct reports, engineering, scheduling, costs and HSE. You will manage and build relationships with the client on-site and control expenditure and revenue to maximise profitability. You will also organise construction activities in accordance with construction schedules whilst monitoring the status of planning, quality and HSE. You will obtain all relevant permits prior to commencement of work and ensure all subcontractors are advised of their obligations under the contract.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be Degree educated in mechanical engineering as a minimum, PMP would be advantageous. You should have worked in the Oil & Gas industry and have previous experience of working with Qatar Petroleum. You should also have over 10 years experience of EPC civil projects and pipeline projects. In addition, you should have excellent leadership, problem solving and communication skills, with strong understanding of HS&E procedures.
