Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Overall direction, maintenance, technical support and control of the of mechanical, plumping, fire protection, HVAC, building management, low voltage, security, vertical transportation and other systems.

Duties:
• Co-ordination of effective & pro-active maintenance of the MEP activities including all technical processes, field work, testing, commissioning and reliability.
• identify latest (proven) technologies suitable for use on to keep all MEPs equipment and machineries in perfect working condition
• Promote ‘commonality’ in the selection of equipment & materials to benefit the end user. Provide assistance in technical support and supervision of related systems and equipments.
• Co-ordination of MEP activities with Maintenance Manager & Facilities Manager
• Witnessing of factory inspections for major equipment, in conjunction with the Plant Manager / Maintenance Manager..
• Identify best practice and standardization for MEP works and use of effective standard forms and matrix for all processes.
• Ensure that the design review staff is aware of, and have a common understanding of their respective roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct technical reviews and participate in A/E Value Engineering Workshops (if any. Participate in regular coordination meetings, as established by the management).
• Develop management and reporting program for each discipline and provide weekly status update to the Maintenance / Facilities Managers.
• Ensure that any deviation from the work plan will require an immediate recovery schedule to be reviewed with the MEP maintenance team
• Develop a management plan to work with and share information constantly and consistently with Maintenance / Facilities managers and control cost.

Requirements

• B.Sc Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Fluent in English, Bilingual preferred
• PC literate
• Motivated with Leadership, communication, management and reporting skills
• Excellent planning and analytical skills
• Solid pro-active, PdM, PPM maintenance skills
• pleasant personality, team player and good team mentor.
• With Valid Qatar Driver\'s License;
• With NOC;
• Available immediately
