Job description / Role
Our client is one of the worlds largest construction contractors, with a strong presence in the GCC. Currently they are in urgent need of an experienced MEP Stakeholder Manager for their operations in Qatar. Candidate must have previous experience in Qatar, and be well versed with Qatari markets and public authorities. Candidate must be an Arabic speaker.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Act as primary contact between all internal and external parties for smooth management of project.
- Point of contact between internal parties direct communication with outside stakeholders.
- Work with relevant Qatari public agencies to secure proper permits and other public documents.
- Take the lead during meeting between different parties and stakeholders.
- Interface with parties within Qatar and internationally as necessary.
- Ensure the company has proper documentation and coordinate submissions of documents to public authorities.
- Monitoring, tracking, and assessing interfaces and work closely with the contractors construction team and other third party stakeholders to identity the most effective and economical way to resolve them.
- Be responsible for interfacing with the client.
- Supervision of compliance with interface management processes.
- Actively participate in working groups aimed at providing solutions to delivery challenges, such as interface resolution, construction logistics, supply chain, sustainability, social concerns and legacy.
Requirements
- Mechanical or electrical engineering degree required.
- Must have previous experience working in Qatar.
- Experience on large scale Qatari projects preferred.
- Must be Arabic speaker.
- Previous experience in Stakeholder/interface management preferred.
- Must be strong personality.
