Operations Director

Job description / Role

The candidate will assist the Managing Director in overseeing all aspects of the Operations Department along with OH&S of the entire company.

Key Responsibilities

Technical
- Surveying of new locations
- Preparation and submission of approval documentation to the authorities
- Arrange the design and certification of large format structures
- 3rd party verifications of all large format structures

Operations
- Manage the Operations team
- Networking of advertising circuits
- Oversee installation and maintenance of street furniture including mall assets
- Oversee all warehouse operations
- Implementation of complete operational procedures manual
- Oversee day to day production activity
- Assist sales with special requests
- Maintaining good relations with Ashghal & road contractors

Financial
- Preparation of annual department budgets
- Day to day monitoring of performance against budgets
- CAPEX and OPEX predictions for new contracts and opportunities

Health & Safety
- Oversee the implementation of Health & Safety procedures in compliance with JCDecaux Group Standards
- Review the RA’s as per the OH&S calendar
- Prepare yearly OH&S plans
- Coordinate with Regional and International Safety team for new developments

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical or Electronics) or similar experience in related field
- 5-7 years’ experience in Outdoor Advertising
- Proven leadership skills
- Good communication skills
- Should be a holder of a driving license for private/light vehicles for 2 years or more
