Charterhouse is working with a third generation Qatari Holding Company, who offer a diverse range of products and services for the Automotive, Retail and Trading Industry. The company’s long-standing presence in the local market has warranted them a trusted reputation, allowing them to secure consistent partners in the marketplace. They are looking to hire a sector specific Aftersales Operations Manager to join their Doha based office.

You will be managing all Automotive and Tyre Manufacturing aftermarket operations in order to provide exceptional customer services, while maintaining the financial integrity of the group by setting and achieving annual / monthly sales and production objectives, ensuring a positive profit/target. You will safeguard all company assets and look to reduce the operating costs, whilst maintaining high levels of health and safety processes.

You will supervise the training of the company’s employees, developing their potential and productivity. This will include sales, service, accounts, retail and logistics departments. You will also work closely with Line Managers and senior staff to set and achieve KPI’s in line with the company’s overall objectives.

Requirements

You will have a relevant bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or Operations, with a minimum of 10 years professional experience in a similar Automotive / Mechanic or Tyre Operations position. You must have a strong understanding of tyre manufacturing and manufacturing process systems for a commercial business. It is essential that you are able to communicate confidently at Director / Board level, and present sales, target and budgeting figures. You will have experience of overseeing the operations of a 150 members of staff and above, within a similar business. Arabic speaking is desirable.
