Pre Commissioning Manager - O&G/Industrial

Job description / Role

Required to join an international contractor working on the construction of a large scale oil & gas / Industrial project in Qatar. The successful candidate will:

• Manage and guide a team of Pre-commissioning specialists as the functional head at an LNG project with overall responsibility for technical performance, ensuring application of established procedures and standards of the Contractor at all levels
• Define and establish the pre-commissioning and handover execution framework and objectives for the project.
• Ensures implementation of best practices by developing and implementing turnover, pre-commissioning, preservation and maintenance processes and systems considering and including contractual requirements, project and construction schedule, reliability, maintenance, materials management and change management.
• Ensure implementation of HSE, quality, value, timeliness on all related tasks and duties.
• Development of the pre-commissioning strategy.
• Establish system boundaries, scopes of work, and pre-commissioning / turnover execution plans.
• Manage development of Pre-commissioning Staging Plans and Schedules, integrated in the Project Staging and baseline plan, which supports the Program Plans.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Engineering (Mechanical or Process Engineering).
• 15 years + of varied experience on process plant, oil and gas plants, industrial buildings and tank farms.
• Knowledge of equipment installations, QA/QC and testing methods and systems completions/turnover.
• Good communication skills, ability to interact effectively with Client, EPC Contractor, other stakeholders and vendors.
• Computer literate in commonly used software with emphasis on turnover and systems completion.
