Job description / Role
Client is a fully multi-disciplinary, Western Engineering and Design Consultancy with nearly 100 offices around the World. They are currently seeking excellent Western Principal Mechanical Engineers that are certified with the MMUP in Qatar as a Grade A Mechanical Engineer to join their team and work on a variety of landmark projects.
You will be the lead mechanical design engineer on a range of large developments in Qatar using your hands-on technical experience to guide the design team and liaise with the client, municipalities and other stakeholders. Although there is an HVAC focus on the role the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the plumbing, firefighting and hydraulic aspects of buildings projects.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have 12 – 15 years of technical hands-on mechanical design experience on a variety of building types; from Hotels to Towers and Villas to Shopping Malls. GCC experience is essential and you MUST be certified with the MMUP in Qatar as a Grade A Mechanical Engineer (or be in the process of achieving this accreditation). You will be a Principal Mechanical Engineer or a Senior Mechanical Engineer transitioning into a Principal role for a major consultancy. Your experience will be focused on HVAC but with a solid understanding of the plumbing, firefighting and hydraulic side of buildings projects.
