Production and Maintenance Team Lead

Job description / Role

As the Production & Maintenance Team Lead, you will serve as a pivotal figure in overseeing the operational efficiency and maintenance integrity of our beverage production line and associated equipment. Your role will encompass leading shift activities, ensuring compliance with manufacturing guidelines, and fostering a culture of safety and quality within the production and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Equipment Operations and Maintenance: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in operating and maintaining SIPA filler, mass blend operations, blow mold, SACMI Labellor, Robopack, AF Compressor, chiller, boiler, and other utilities equipment essential to beverage production.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Uphold adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Maintain high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production and maintenance areas.
• Preventive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance tasks diligently, including equipment lubrication and routine inspections, to minimize downtime and optimize operational efficiency.
• Yield Optimization: Possess expertise in optimizing yields for preform, syrup, CO2, and other production components, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency enhancement.
• Leadership and Team Management: Lead and coordinate shift activities, fostering teamwork, constructive relationships, and a problem-solving mindset among team members. Provide guidance, training, and motivation to ensure peak performance.
• Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of raw materials usage, equipment maintenance activities, and production metrics using SAP or similar systems. Prepare shift reports for submission to the Production Supervisor and facilitate finance audits as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications
• Education: Diploma/Degree in Production or Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• Experience 5 to 7 years of experience in food or beverage manufacturing, with expertise in production line operations and maintenance.

Additional Requirements:
• Proficiency in SAP or similar systems for recordkeeping and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead teams effectively.
