Production Manager
My client is a domestic greenhouse farm utilizing both high technology and low technology hydroponic and soil-less methods focused on producing tomatoes, capsicums and cucumbers for the local market in Qatar. They are currently seeking a Production Manager to manage all production and post-harvest activities, including grading, packaging and preparation of the production plan.
The successful candidate will oversee all tomato / capsicum & cucumber production and post-harvest activities, including grading and packaging. You will coordinate with the Agronomist and Sales team to make relevant recommendations to achieve efficient crop production and assist the General Manager in the preparation of the production plan & season, as well as reporting to the management team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy related field and a minimum of 7 to 10 years’ experience as junior agronomist / agronomist or production supervisor, preferably in a similar organization structure. You must have the ability to communicate clearly, concisely in English and operate in a multi-cultural environment (Arabic or other language a plus).
