Job description / Role

Our client are one of the longest established and most highly regarded Construction Groups in Qatar formed almost 40 years ago. They have a renowned history of delivering some off the most iconic projects in the region with the commercial, residential, mixed use and infrastructure sectors.

Our client are engaged on projects as the principal main contractor and have a number of multi billion dollar large scale construction and building projects.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Director to be the lead on a given project a manage a large team of Project Managers, Commercial Managers and Planners.

Your duties will include:
- Managing the relationship with the client and consultants
- Recruit and manage a large on site team
- Ensure that contractual deliverable are produced and issued.
- Monitoring issues to identify problems which could impact the project.
- Providing project leadership and define and actively seek achieving strategic objects.
- Lead/ maintain and develop the team and interfaces.

Requirements

- A Degree in Civil Engineering - Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- At least 20 years experience
- GCC experience
- Worked for a main contractor
- Delivered large scale projects in the mixed use, commercial, leisure, sport, residential or retail sectors
- Be currently working as a Project Director – Construction Director or General Manager
