Project Director - Airports

Guildhall is one of the only approved recruitment consultancies on the next phase of Hamad International Airport development. As such we are recruiting for a number of positions for the Client, Consultant and Contractors.

We are currently looking for a Project Director to be based with the main contractor. We require someone with major airport experience while working for a contractor from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
- Project manager plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of the project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
- Confers with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within the prescribed budget.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

Requirements

- 2+ year experience as Project Director or Senior Project Manager.
- Should have recently worked in on an airport project
- Should have worked with a construction contracting company at least 50% of your career
- Should have worked on projects like airport terminals, large malls, mixed-use complexes
- Previous management experience on projects valued $300 million+ USD.
