Publicity Officer (Arabic Speaker)

Job description / Role

The Publicity Officer (Arabic Speaking) is to liaise with, and respond to, the general public regarding the construction site activities. He is to assist the Stakeholder manager to resolve public involvement and Relations issues by liaising with the Construction team, the design and project management team, and the contractors of LRDP for Doha West.

Responsibilities:
- To act proactively in contributing to the preparation of Public awareness and involvement plans during the construction works.
- To receive complaints from the general public, or via the PMC & PWA, regarding the Contract construction works.
- Resolve complaints from the general public with the assistance of the Construction supervision, design, & PM team, the Contractors, as well as the Stakeholder Management Team and the appropriate stakeholders.
- To advise the general public, with the assistance of Resident Engineer, regarding the resolution of complaints.
- Manage daily communication with the public and other stakeholders, to address their concerns regarding project construction related queries. This includes, among other task, reporting on specific road closures with dates, project status information, project progress, etc

Requirements

The Publicity Officer will Report to the Stakeholder Manager and work collaboratively with Senior / Resident Engineer.
