Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

Implement and maintain QPM’s Quality Management System on client project site in accordance with local legislation and Client requirements to promote continuous improvement in project delivery.

Responsibilities and Major Activities:

- Set up project-specific Quality Management Plan.
- Prepare and submit quality reports as required in a timely manner.
- Production and maintenance of Quality Management System procedures and documentation as required (including templates, checklists, guidance notes).
- Conduct regular surveillance and inspections to monitor Contractor performance at work sites and through analysis of reported information.
- Conduct audits of Contractor Quality Management System to verify the implementation of project plans, procedures and processes.
- Monitor and review Contractor Quality Submissions including Procedures, Reports and Records to assure compliance with requirements.
- Assure the implementation of effective corrective and preventive actions as appropriate where deviations from project requirements identified.
- Conduct project meetings focused on quality management issues and record and track actions as appropriate.
- Coordinate with Project Director to analyse quality reports and ensure compliance to defined standards at all stages of project.
- Conduct Quality training to ensure project team have requisite knowledge and awareness of Quality Management System including Client policy requirements.

Requirements

- Engineering degree or comparable Technical Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a bias toward Quality Management.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a Quality Management role preferably in large-scale Infrastructure Projects or Rail Transport Systems.
- Certified Lead Quality Auditor (ISO 9001) from recognised training provider (e.g. IRCA registered company)
