Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager to join our team and oversee the quality control processes for our lubricants and oilfield chemicals production. As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your expertise in quality control methodologies and strong attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining our reputation for delivering superior products.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines for production processes.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure that products meet quality specifications and comply with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring continuous improvement in product quality.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, test results, and corrective actions taken.
- Train and educate staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality control methodologies.
- Develop and Conduct Quality controls procedures to ensure the quality of raw materials used in lubricant and chemical production.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality control standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with external regulatory agencies and participate in audits and inspections.
- Provide daily reports and report any inconsistency to the top management.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality control management, preferably in the lubricants industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and regulations related to lubricant and oilfield chemicals production.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in using quality control tools and software.
- Ability to lead and train a team of quality control technicians.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 17025 and other relevant management system.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

For decades, major International lubricant suppliers have been represented by well-established local agents. Other market competition factors include products from G.C.C exporters which are duty free while others paying a bare 4% duty. QALCO, therefore, faced a hostile marketing situation with traditional built-in-resistance to a newcomer.
