Job description / Role
Quantity Surveyor - Qatar - Major Civil Project
We are working with the largest sections of the new Doha metro system that is currently under construction in Qatar. Our client is a large international contractor who are responsible for a $1 billion section of works.
Due to restructuring of the commercial team they are looking for a Quantity surveyor to work alongside a high level contracts/ claims manager.
This role will effectively be number 2 on the project with key commercial responsibilities such as; measurements, payments and general correspondence.
This role requires someone to perform take offs from the BIM model.
The role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a world class contractor and project and be in a key role alongside some senior level members of the team.
To be of requisite calibre for this role my client is looking for someone with the following key skills and attributes;
* Proven track record working for main contractors
* Experience in major civil engineering projects (ideally rail)
* Relevant degree qualification in Quantity Surveying
* Fluent English language skills
In return my client is offering a tax free total package valued at $10,500 USD per month. From this you will need to cover the costs of accommodation and transport. On top of this you will be supplied with medical cover and flights.
